XXXVIII FMI CAMPIONATI INTERNAZIONALI D’ITALIA EICMA SERIES 2025

L’attesa è finita ed è tempo di vedere all’opera alcuni tra i più forti piloti della MX1 e della MX2 che scenderanno in pista per la prima mini serie stagionale del continente europeo.
The wait is over and it’s time to see some of the fastest MX1 and MX2 riders at work, who will take to the track for the first European series.

Start Time #1 – La stagione 2025 si aprirà a Mantova dove i piloti impegnati negli Internazionali d’Italia di Motocross EICMA Series si scontreranno per contendersi il primo trofeo della stagione. La prestigiosa pista sabbiosa del Tazio Nuvolari accoglierà infatti il primo dei due round che si terrà nel fine settimana dell’8 e 9 febbraio. 

The 2025 season will open in Mantova where the riders competing in the Internazionali d’Italia di Motocross EICMA Series will compete to win the first trophy of the season. The prestigious sandy track of Tazio Nuvolari will host the first round that will be held on the 8th and 9th of February.

Al cancello di partenza di Mantova ci saranno i portacolori del Team Beta MRT, con il tedesco Tom Koch che esordirà in sella alla moto italiana ufficiale accanto al consolidato Ben Watson. La prima gara dell’anno sarà l’occasione imperdibile per vedere all’opera per la prima volta in assoluto il nuovo duo della Ducati che scenderanno in pista con la Desmo 450MX; per Jeremy Seewer e Mattia Guadagnini, la gara di Mantova sarà infatti un importante banco di prova per verificare il lavoro svolto durante la off-season con il Team Maddii che gestisce il programma corse ufficiale della casa di Borgo Panigale. I due alfieri della Ducati si confronteranno, tra gli altri, con i tre della Fantic, capitanati da Glenn Coldenhoff che sarà accompagnato nel suo debutto stagionale sulla 450XX da Brian Bogers e dal neo acquisto Andrea Bonacorsi che debutterà in sella alla moto italiana con la quale disputerà tutta la stagione della MXGP, mentre in MX2 Simone Mancini farà il suo esordio in sella alla 250XX. Grande attesa anche per il vice Campione del Mondo della classe regina, Tim Gajser che porterà all’esordio la nuova CRF 450RW assieme a Ruben Fernandez e che saranno accompagnati dai due azzurri della MX2, Ferruccio Zanchi e Valerio Lata, vice Campione Europeo della EMX250 e alla prima uscita ufficiale in sella alla moto del team HRC gestito da Giacomo Gariboldi. Il primo round degli INTMX sarà l’occasione per assistere all’attesissimo debutto in sella alla KTM SX450F, di Lucas Coenen, fresco acquisto del team KTM RedBull De Carli che schiererà anche il tre volte bronzo mondiale della MX2 Simon Langenfelder e Sasha Coenen, rimasto nella classe cadetta ma riunito sotto la stessa tenda col fratello Lucas. Tra i protagonisti della prima serie dell’anno ci saranno anche la Yamaha YZF 250 factory di Karlis Reisulis e i giovanissimi della 125 tra i quali spiccano i nomi dei “nostri” Nicolò Alvisi in sella alla KTM e Francesco Bellei e il suo nuovo compagno di squadra Douwe Van Mechgelen con le Fantic, oltre a Jarne Bervoets, Dany Heitink e Sleny Goyer con le Yamaha e Nicolò Mannini e Riccardo Pini con la TM, così come Julius Mikula, schierato  però in MX2.

At the starting gate there will be the Team Beta MRT’s riders, with the German Tom Koch who will make his debut on the factory Italian bike alongside his new team mate Ben Watson. The first race of the year will be an unmissable opportunity to see the new Ducati duo at work for the first time ever. Jeremy Seewer and Mattia Guadagnini will take to the track the Desmo 450MX and the first race will be an important test to verify the work done during the off-season with Team Maddii that manages the official racing program of the Borgo Panigale brand. The two Ducati riders will compete, among others, with the three from Fantic, led by Glenn Coldenhoff who will be accompanied in his seasonal debut on the 450XX by Brian Bogers and the new factory rider Andrea Bonacorsi who will debut on the Italian bike with which he will compete throughout the MXGP season, while in MX2 Simone Mancini will make his debut on the 250XX. Great expectations also for the vice World Champion of the premier class, Tim Gajser who will debut the new CRF 450RW together with the Spaniard Ruben Fernandez alongside the two Italians of MX2, Ferruccio Zanchi and the vice European Champion of EMX250 Valerio Lata on his first official outing on the bike of the HRC team managed by Giacomo Gariboldi. The first round of the INTMX will be the occasion to witness the very awaited debut on the KTM SX450F, of Lucas Coenen, a recent acquisition of the KTM RedBull De Carli team that will also field the three-time world bronze medalist of the MX2 class, Simon Langenfelder and Sasha Coenen, who remained in the smallest class but reunited under the same tent with his brother Lucas. Among the protagonists of the first series of the year there will also be the Yamaha YZF 250 factory of Karlis Reisulis and the young 125 riders among whom the names of “our” Nicolò Alvisi on the KTM and Francesco Bellei at the first race with the Fantic, alongside with his new team mate Douwe Van Mechgelen, as well as Jarne Bervoets, Dany Heitink and Sleny Goyer with the Yamaha and Nicolò Mannini and Riccardo Pini with the TM, as well as Julius Mikula, lined up in MX2.
