XXXVIII FMI CAMPIONATI INTERNAZIONALI D’ITALIA EICMA SERIES 2025
Report Time – Si chiude con il successo di Tim Gajser (Honda) la prima giornata degli Internazionali d’Italia di Motocross EICMA Series che ora si sposterà in Toscana sulla pista di Montevarchi (AR) per il secondo e conclusivo round della serie.
Report Time – The first day of the Internazionali d’Italia di Motocross EICMA Series, which will now move to Tuscany on the Montevarchi (AR) track for the second and final round of the series, ends with a win for Tim Gajser (Honda).
MX1 – Lo sloveno accreditato del miglior tempo in prova ha colto il successo in entrambe le frazioni, dimostrando un’ottima condizione fisica e un livello di preparazione già da mondiale. In gara uno il pilota della HRC parte alle spalle dell’astro nascente Lucas Coenen (KTM) e nel giro di due passaggi se ne libera, prendendo il comando, chiudendo primo al termine dei 13 giri di gara, precedendo sotto la bandiera a scacchi il belga e Andrea Bonacorsi (Fantic), autore di una bella manche chiusa davanti a Isak Gifting (Yamaha) e Jeremy Seewer (Ducati).
MX1 – The Slovenian, credited with the best time in practice, took the win in both heats, demonstrating excellent physical condition and a level of preparation already worthy of the world championship. In race one, the HRC rider started behind the rising star Lucas Coenen (KTM) and in two laps he got rid of him, taking the lead, finishing first at the end of the 13 laps of the race, with the Belgian second under the checkered flag and Andrea Bonacorsi (Fantic), in front of Isak Gifting (Yamaha) and Jeremy Seewer (Ducati).
In gara due lo sloveno scatta nuovamente secondo ma questa volta l’autore dell’hole-shot, Gifting, cade, ripartendo 10° posizione. Gajser fa il vuoto, seminando il compagno di squadra Ruben Fernandez (Honda) che cade nel corso del secondo giro, lasciando la posizione a Bonacorsi, seguito da Coenen e Guadagnini, con Seewer sesto. A metà gara il belga ha la meglio su Bonacorsi che termina terzo davanti al duo Ducati, con Seewer 4°. Sul podio Gajser è primo e conquista la prima tabella rossa della stagione, con Coenen secondo e Bonacorsi terzo.
In race two, the Slovenian started second again behind Gifting, who then crashed. On the podium Gajser is first and conquers the first red plate of the season, with Coenen second and Bonacorsi third.
In MX2 successo di giornata per Andrea Adamo (KTM) che apre il suo 2025 con una vittoria conquistata al termine di due manche impegnative. Dopo aver conquistato la prima frazione ai danni di Sacha Coenen (KTM), autore della pole position, il Campione del Mondo della MX2 2023 termina al secondo posto alle spalle dell’olandese Cas Valk (KTM) in gara due e si aggiudica l’assoluta precedendo Valerio Lata (Honda), secondo in gara uno davanti a Coenen, autore di una caduta e terzo nella seconda frazione. Il siciliano conquista la tabella rossa della MX2 che indosserà nella prossima gara di Montevarchi.
In MX2, success for Andrea Adamo (KTM) who opens his 2025 with a victory conquered at the end of two challenging motos. After winning the first race passing the poleman Sacha Coenen (KTM), the 2023 MX2 World Champion finished second behind Dutchman Cas Valk (KTM) in race two and won the overall ahead of Valerio Lata (Honda), second in race one ahead of Coenen, who fell and was third in the second race. The Sicilian won the red plate that he will wear in the next race in Montevarchi.
In 125 primo successo stagionale per il giovane Filippo Mantovani (KTM) che fa sua la gara di Mantova grazie al terzo posto ottenuto nella prima frazione e alla vittoria nella seconda. Sul podio anche le due Yamaha di Dani Heitink e Jarne Bervoets, rispettivamente secondo e terzo, con quest’ultimo vittorioso nella prima frazione ma a terra nella seconda, chiusa al sesto posto. Giornata sfortunata per Aaron Katona (KTM), autore della pole position della ottavo di litro, costretto al ritiro in entrambe le manche.
In 125, the young Filippo Mantovani (KTM) took his first win of the season, winning the Mantova race thanks to third place in the first race and the victory in the second. Also on the podium were the two Yamahas of Dani Heitink and Jarne Bervoets, second and third, with the latter victorious in the first race but down in the second, finishing in sixth place. Unlucky day for Aaron Katona (KTM), poleman of the 125, forced to retire in both heats.
