XXXVII FMI CAMPIONATI INTERNAZIONALI D’ITALIA EICMA SERIES 2024
L’atto conclusivo degli Internazionali d’Italia EICMA Series 2024 di motocross è andato in scena sul tracciato di Mantova che per l’occasione ha ospitato più di 150 piloti in gara nelle tre classi, 125, MX2 ed MX1, incoronando campioni Gyan Doensen (KTM), Simon Langenfelder (GASGAS) e Tim Gajser (Honda).
Start Time – In MX1 è Tim Gajser il nuovo Campione degli Internazionali d’Italia; lo sloveno, arrivato dalla Sardegna con la tabella rossa sulla sua moto si è imposto nel corso delle prove cronometrate, centrando la Pole Position 24MX davanti al compagno di squadra Ruben Fernandez (Honda) e a Romain Febvre (Kawasaki). Primo al termine della prima frazione, proprio davanti allo spagnolo e al francese, lo sloveno, autore del Raven Hole-Shot è caduto al via della seconda manche, ripartendo ultimo. Con una rimonta forsennata, Gajser ha conquistato il secondo posto finale, vincendo anche il secondo round e il titolo della classe regina. Secondo sul podio di giornata e di campionato anche Febvre, primo in gara due e Fernandez, quarto nella seconda frazione.
In MX2 finale a sorpresa con la vittoria del titolo della 250 che va a Simon Langenfelder; il tedesco, primo del suo gruppo davanti ad Andrea Adamo (KTM), si è schierato secondo dietro a Ferruccio Zanchi (Honda), più veloce del suo gruppo e autore della Pole Position 24MX davanti a Valerio Lata (GASGAS). La prima gara di giornata è stata appannaggio di Liam Everts (KTM), al comando dalla prima curva dopo aver centrato il Raven Hole-Shot che ha chiuso davanti a Zanchi e Oriol Oliver (KTM). In gara due è Lata a prendere il comando, mantenendo la leadership per sei giri, fino a quando Everts e Adamo non lo hanno superato, con il siciliano vittorioso sul traguardo dopo aver avuto la meglio sul compagno. Terzo posto per Lata che precede Langenfelder. Caduta nelle prime fasi per Zanchi che si ritira nel corso della manche a causa di noie tecniche. Sul podio Everts precede Adamo e Lata, in campionato vittoria a Langenfelder che precede Oliver e Adamo, con Zanchi quarto davanti a Lata.
In 125 è Gyan Doensen, il nuovo campione degli Internazionali d’Italia; l’olandese che ha chiuso davanti a Noel Zanocz (Fantic) e a Kasimir Hindersson (KTM). I due di testa sono arrivati a Mantova a pari punti ma la vittoria è andata a Doensen, primo davanti a Maximilian Ernecker (KTM) e a Hindersson in gara uno e primo in gara due, davanti al rivale ungherese e a Hindersson. Quarto posto di giornata per il francese Mano Faure (Yamaha), autore della pole position 24MX.
E per quest’anno è tutto, appuntamento con gli Internazionali D’Italia MX nel 2025…

The final act of the Internazionali d’Italia EICMA Series 2024 of motocross took place on the Mantova track that hosted more than 150 riders competing in the three classes, 125, MX2 and MX1. The new Champions of the Internazionali d’Italia 2024 are: Gyan Doensen, Simon Langenfelder and Tim Gajser.
Start Time – In MX1 Tim Gajser (Honda) is the new Champion of the Internazionali d’Italia; the Slovenian, who arrived from Sardinia with the red plate on his CRF, was the fastest of the timed practice, taking the 24MX Pole Position ahead of his teammate Ruben Fernandez (Honda) and Romain Febvre (Kawasaki). First at the end of the first moto, right in front of the Spaniard and the Frenchman, the Slovenian, took the Raven Hole-Shot, but crashed at the start of the second moto, restarting last. With an astonishing comeback, Gajser took second place, taking also the premier class title. Febvre was also second on the podium of the day and of the championship, with a victory in race two with Fernandez third overall and fourth in the second moto.
In MX2 the Simon Langenfelder (GASGAS) win the 250 series; the German, first in his group ahead of Andrea Adamo (KTM), lined up second behind Ferruccio Zanchi (Honda),took the 24MX Pole Position being the fastest in his group, ahead of Valerio Lata (GASGAS). The first race of the day was for Liam Everts (KTM), who took the lead from the first corner after hitting the Raven Hole-Shot and finished ahead of Zanchi and Oriol Oliver (KTM). In race two Lata took the lead for six laps, until Everts and Adamo overtook him, with the Sicilian winner at the finish line after having got his teammate. Third place for Lata ahead of Langenfelder. Crash in the early stages for Zanchi who retires during the moto due to technical problems. Everts is first on the podium ahead of Adamo and Lata. In the championship the victory goes to Langenfelder who lead Oliver and Adamo, with Zanchi fourth ahead of Lata.
In 125 it is Gyan Doensen (KTM), the new champion of the Internazional d’Italia; the Dutchman who finished ahead of Noel Zanocz (Fantic) and Kasimir Hindersson (KTM). The two leaders arrived in Mantova on equal points but the victory went to Doensen, first ahead of Maximilian Ernecker (KTM) and Hindersson in race one, and first in race two, ahead of his Hungarian rival and Hindersson. Fourth place of the day for the Frenchman Mano Faure (Yamaha), that signed the 24MX pole position in the timed practice
